I am an independent contemporary art curator and creative producer based in Glasgow, Scotland and practising internationally for almost 20 years. My areas of specialism include contemporary artists’ archives, performance and installation art, off-site and event-based programming, participatory and socially engaged art. I have worked closely with a broad range of internationally recognised artists on new commissions and site-specific projects. I am a trained art historian (BA History of Art, ELTE, Budapest), curator and producer (MA Arts Management, Dartington) and practice-based researcher (AHRC funded PhD, Aberystwyth). My recent curatorial projects include No such permanenceonly becoming (Międzynarodowe Laboratorium Kultury, Sokołowsko, Poland, 2019), Left Performance Histories (ngbk, Berlin, 2017-2018), The Happenstance (Palazzo Zenobio, 16th Architectural Biennale Venice, 2017-2018), and Silent Explosion, Ivor Davies and Destruction in Art (National Museum Wales, Cardiff, 2015-16). I have taught on arts management, curating and fine art courses throughout the United Kingdom, given talks and workshops internationally and am currently Associate Tutor, MLitt Curatorial Practice (Contemporary Art) at the Glasgow School of Art. My research has been published internationally, including by Palgrave Macmillan and Brill Publishing and I am a founding co-editor of Gordian Projects artist-led small press. Having also held positions including Archivist, Artpool, Budapest and Programme Curator, East Street Arts, Leeds, I am currently Producer at WAVEparticle, Glasgow.
